What is a good price for a good cheap rusty NB Miata? I am visiting my mom, so searching the local not local to me craigslist.

With rust like that, $1k. Maybe like $1500 if everything else is immaculate and it runs well. Check the front subframe though. It's worth like negative money if that's rusted..

Interesting that it’s only rusty in that one spot. I bet that car was in a minor collision on that side and the repair was not of the highest quality.
Ah and I see a Warm Air Intake... that’s good for fuel economy. Not so good for power on a hot day.
In the ad, they say the motor has half the miles listed... but they don’t list how many miles are actually listed.
Conditional nice price. And that depends on what the car looks like underneath, what the mileage is and how well it goes, stops and turns.

That strikes me as a potential NP. Interior’s great, exterior’s not bad except for the rusty fender, and engine... But mileage is not stated.

I’d be very cautious if there’s rust that bad on it, even if it’s only “one” spot. NB and NA Miatas can develop rust in the boxed frame near the front sway bar mount that’s hard to detect until it’s too late and it’s hard to prevent it because rust forms between the two untreated walls.
